Visit the historic district of Bogota.
Immerse yourself in the historic district of Bogota walking through the streets of La Candelaria, known for being the first neighborhood of Bogota. We will start our tour by visiting the first square constructed in the city, La Plaza del Chorro de Quevedo.
We will continue our journey walking through the "eje del centro ambiental" while our expert guide enlightens you with the explanation of monuments and the history of the city.
After that we will take a break at Juan Valdez, so that you can enjoy and taste the real flavor of Colombian coffee, and then we will continue to The Botero Museum, which collection includes art works of some of the greatest modern artist in the world.
Then we will go to the Golden Museum, which posses the world's largest pre-Hispanic gold collection, with approximately 34,000 gold pieces. It exposes pieces from different indigenous cultures who settled before the arrival of Europeans in Colombian territory.
Finally we will reach the heart of the city which is the Plaza de Bolivar, flanked by buildings from several eras, many of which have great historical and political significance. We will finish our journey in la Puerta Falsa, where you can taste Colombian typical food.

Sumergete en La Candelaria, y camina por las calles del primer barrio de Bogotá. Comenzaremos nuestra visita en la primera plaza construída en la ciudad, La Plaza del Chorro de Quevedo.
Continuaremos nuestro recorrido caminando a través del "eje del centro ambiental", mientras que un guía experto brindara valiosa información acerca de los monumentos y la historia de la ciudad.
Tomaremos un descanso en Juan Valdez para degustar el auténtico sabor del café Colombiano, y luego continuaremos hacia El Museo Botero, cuya colección incluye obras de algunos de los más grandes artistas modernos del mundo.
Después iremos al Museo del Oro, el cual posee la colección de orfebrería prehispánica más grande del mundo, con aproximadamente 34,000 piezas de oro. Expone piezas de diferentes culturas indígenas asentadas en la actual Colombia antes de la llegada de los europeos.
Por último visitaremos el corazón de la ciudad, La Plaza de Bolívar, flanqueada por edificios de varias épocas, muchos de los cuales poseen gran importancia histórica y política. Terminaremos nuestro recorrido en la puerta falsa donde podrá degustar la comida tipica Bogotana.

Located at 3,152 meters above the sea, on the eastern hills of Bogota, Monserrate is in charge of guarding the city. It can be reached by foot, cable car or funicular. His Shrine of the Fallen, has great religious value and is visited by thousands of Catholic pilgrims.
